What are House of Night Topsites?
House of Night Topsites is a one stop shop listing of the best House of Night sites on the web.
Okay, but how exactly does this work?
When the admin of a site signs up at House of Night Topsites, they are given a unique button code to place in a highly trafficked portion of their website. The sites with the average most unique visitors per day is at the top of the list, and it ranks all sites listed accordingly.
I see ratings as well, what's the difference between this and the unique visitors ranking?
Topsites also has a rating scale, 1-5 with 5 being the highest possible ranking. These rankings are represented by the House of Night Series half moons, and are user driven -- this allows people to vote on your site by rating it. No half moons typically means your site has not yet been rated.
What about the reviews?
People that visit your site are able to leave a review saying what they think about your site. We reserve the right to remove any review that is inappropriate. There is a difference between constructive criticism and flaming.
So do reviews and ratings affect my score on topsites?
No, these are in place so you and others can learn what people think about your site.

What types of sites do you allow?
We allow all House of Night Fansites including Myspace Groups, Facebook Groups, Message Boards, Fan Listings and Fan Websites. Personal sites such as personal myspaces and facebooks should not be included.
You mentioned buttons...any size/file extension limitations?
Yes, buttons should be no larger than 88x35px (88 pixel width, 35 pixel height) and should be saved as a .jpg, .png, or .gif
